Clear The Beard is a fundraiser where men and women across the country join together to silence youth violence by raising awareness and funds for reviving inner city sports fields/facilities. Men grow a Cheard to become a talking, walking signboard, for inner city causes - specifically violence affecting inner city young men and women. Our first project is the KCK RBI Extreme Field Makeover. Men of Chin start Clear The Beard with a Cheard and then groom and grow their Cheard until they reach their individual fundraising goal. Women who support Clear The Beard, called Women of Chin, also start by registering at clearthebeard.org Women of Chin participate in Clear The Beard by wearing ponytails and the color of lime green until they reach their individual fundraising goal. Be a part of history and become the first Men or Women of Chin in your city, town, school, church or workplace.

Quote: Someone actually stop talking and start doing. I'm guilty of it, too, and Cle has definitely inspired me to start putting my words into action when it comes to Wyandotte County. I honestly believe he has begun to give the citizens of the Dotte something to be proud of. When that happens the snowball effect takes place, you begin to see improvements in the city as a whole not just baseball, and that's how cities get replenished -- pride. It's a definite start to trying to rejuvenate baseball in the state of Kansas. ~ Damian Rolls - (former Wyco 3&2 little leaguer & 23rd pick 1st round 1996 MLB draft)
